6th Grade – Hudson Cheshire
Hudson has earned this recognition through his consistent hard work and dedication to learning. He asks thoughtful questions to deepen his understanding and approaches every task with care and determination. His positive attitude and strong work ethic make him a great influence on his peers. Hudson is a reliable, motivated student who always puts forth his best effort and sets a strong example for others.
6th Grade – Taylor Geyer
Taylor stands out for her focus, commitment, and positive presence in the classroom. She consistently stays on task and approaches her work with care and effort. Her kind nature and uplifting attitude make her a wonderful influence on those around her. Taylor is always willing to support others while striving to do her very best, making her a valued and inspiring member of her class.
7th Grade – Jonathan Poineau
Jonathan has shown incredible growth and leadership this year. This year, he led the entire 7th grade in NWEA science growth, remarkably growing more than 10x his goal. He achieved "high growth" across every NWEA subject area, with scoring in the 99th percentile for growth in both science and language. While these accomplishments are impressive, his steady persistence, focus, and quiet determination in the classroom truly set him apart.
7th Grade – Ariya Ruiz
Ariya consistently demonstrates maturity, leadership, and pride in her work. She leads by example and pays close attention to detail, always striving to do her best. She is supportive and encouraging to her classmates and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Ariya’s calm demeanor, positive attitude, and continued growth make her a truly exceptional student we are proud to recognize.
8th Grade – Vincent Morales
Vincent is a positive and engaged member of the classroom community. He regularly contributes to class discussions and shows kindness and respect to everyone around him. His willingness to participate and stay focused helps create a supportive learning environment for all. Vincent’s consistent effort and positive attitude make him a deserving Student of the Month.
8th Grade – Maggie Kennelly
Maggie is a hardworking and thoughtful student who consistently gives her best effort. She comes to class prepared, stays focused, and actively participates in lessons. Her kind and polite nature contributes to a positive classroom atmosphere. Maggie takes pride in her work and maintains a strong, positive attitude toward learning each day.


The Swan Valley boys track team put together an outstanding performance at the Ithaca Relays against 15 other schools, showcasing depth, toughness, and strong competition across all events. From distance races to relays and field events, the Vikings competed at a high level all day and came away with multiple top finishes.
