The 8th grade girl’s basketball team lost to Hemlock 38-46. It was a tough physical game. Top performer was Maeva Sobol.
The 7th Grade Lady Viking basketball team improved to 8-2 on the season after wins over Bay City John Glenn and Hemlock. The team was led defensively by Valicia Ramirez and Kennedy Felsing. Offensively, Gabby Katz and Grace Ittner contributed to propel the Vikings to victory.
Thank you to those that contributed to our team dinner's throughout the season!

Swan Valley Athletics is honoring another 2 Viking Athletes of the Week from the week of October 6th! Congratulations to Addison Ball and Maci Wilson (8th grade girls basketball) for earning this prestigious award!
Here is what Coach Quellet had to say about both young ladies fulfilling one or more of the Viking Athletic Core Values:
"Addy has always been one of the hardest workers on the team, is extremely coachable, and regularly speaks up to offer up her playing time for others on the team."
"Maci comes in every day with a smile on her face. She has not only accepted her role on this team, but brings a strong work ethic and positivity to each practice and game."

Swan Valley Athletics is honoring another Viking Athlete of the Week from the week of September 29th! Congratulations to Alexis Unger (Middle School Girls XC) for earning this prestigious award!
Here is what Coach Perkins had to say about Alexis fulfilling one or more of the Viking Athletic Core Values:
"Alexis is an outstanding athlete that gives it 100% at every practice and meet. She has been one of our top runners each meet. She is a leader who will often slow her pace at practice to run with and encourage our younger athletes. She is involved in numerous other extra curricular activities and balancing the load while maintaining an A average in school."
Viking Pride!
