The 8th grade girl’s basketball team lost to Hemlock 38-46. It was a tough physical game. Top performer was Maeva Sobol.
The 7th Grade Lady Viking basketball team improved to 8-2 on the season after wins over Bay City John Glenn and Hemlock. The team was led defensively by Valicia Ramirez and Kennedy Felsing. Offensively, Gabby Katz and Grace Ittner contributed to propel the Vikings to victory.

Thank you to those that contributed to our team dinner's throughout the season!

VIKING ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (WEEK OF October 6th)...

Swan Valley Athletics is honoring another 2 Viking Athletes of the Week from the week of October 6th! Congratulations to Addison Ball and Maci Wilson (8th grade girls basketball) for earning this prestigious award!

Here is what Coach Quellet had to say about both young ladies fulfilling one or more of the Viking Athletic Core Values:

"Addy has always been one of the hardest workers on the team, is extremely coachable, and regularly speaks up to offer up her playing time for others on the team."

"Maci comes in every day with a smile on her face. She has not only accepted her role on this team, but brings a strong work ethic and positivity to each practice and game."

Viking Pride!
