IMPORTANT INFO AND REMINDERS FOR TOMORROW NIGHT'S VARSITY FOOTBALL GAME (9/20)...
Tomorrow night’s home Varsity Football Game against John Glenn will be Parent-Senior Night for the football players and cheer athletes. They will be recognized at 6:35 p.m. before the game. Furthermore, there will be a fireworks display immediately following the game. Your best seat for the fireworks will be from inside the stadium. PLEASE NOTE, THE SERVICE DRIVE FROM THE DITCH WEST OF THE FOOTBALL STADIUM TO THE VARSITY BASEBALL FIELD PRESS BOX WILL BE BLOCKED OFF FOR 10-15 MINUTES IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE GAME. THERE WILL NO PARKING IN THIS AREA.
For neighboring residents, please see the attached letter from Superintendent, Mat McRae and Thomas Township Fire Chief, Mike Cousins. If you have young children or dogs sensitive to loud noises, please plan accordingly.
As a reminder to all spectators, NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED IN THE STADIUM. THIS INCLUDES WATER BOTTLES, YETIS, TUMBLERS, PLASTIC CUPS, MUGS, ETC. Concessions will be available throughout the night along with Tom’s Coffee Truck located inside the stadium gates next to concessions. LASTLY, THERE WILL BE NO REENTRY ONCE LEAVING THE STADIUM.

8th grade girls basketball defeated Alma Monday 43-27.
Gabby Miller led all scorers with 18
Poppy Weyand added 12pts
Norah Jennings with 9pts
Olivea Hernandez finished with 4pts.
Wednesday the girls continue the action at home against Ithaca.
The 7th grade girls basketball team beat Alma 39-13. The girls controlled the paint by grabbing 31 rebounds.
Addison Ball had a monster game with 18 pts, 8 boards and 5 steals.
Harper Wagner and Cameron Kornecky also helped in the big win with 4 pts each.
Mrs Decker's 7th grade Art students were busy last week creating gorgeous watercolor paintings and working on the annual yearbook cover art contest! Make sure to check out their artwork in the display cases next time you're in the middle school!

Girls Basketball !!
8th grade girls defeated Frankenmuth 39-8 on Wednesday. Very good defensive effort all around. Gabby Miller led all scoring with 17, Poppy Weyand had 12pts, Norah Jennings with 6, Gabby Price and Lily Boden with 2, Sophia Burns and Cadence Raymond led the team with 5 rebounds each.
The 7th grade girls defeated Frankenmuth 47-18. Addison Ball was the high scorer with 12 pts, Mckenna Miller led the team in rebounding with 8, and Ryelle Thompson led the team in steals with 4. The girls showed great energy on defense and offense for all four quarters.

RALLY IN THE VALLEY AND 1ST ANNUAL SWAN VALLEY SPORTS HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY - SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND, 5:30 P.M.
The Rally in the Valley Event for the 2024-2025 school year will be on Saturday, November 2nd at 5:30 p.m. at the Horizons Conference Center (please see attached flier). Also, the Swan Valley Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place as a part of the Rally with the ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m. and dinner to follow. In the first year of the Hall of Fame, Swan Valley's 5 team state champions and first 2 individual state champions, Mario Guerrero and Leah Dixon, will be honored.
The Rally is a huge fundraiser for the SVAA which helps fund thousands of dollars of equipment and uniforms for Swan Valley Athletics. Come on out and show your support for Swan Valley athletes and honor our state champions, all while having a good time!
