🏃♂️ Swan Valley Boys Track Update – Bay City Western Invitational Results (May 19) 🏅
Big performances and even bigger records from our Viking boys!
🔥 4x800M Relay Team – SCHOOL RECORD!
Our 4x800M relay squad of Sawyer Murphy, Griffin Beougher, Eli Anders, and Vaughn Trombley etched their names into the record books with a historic run (9.27.47). An incredible achievement for this talented group—way to make Viking history!
💥 Connor Charboneau turned in a standout effort in the 3200M, clocking an outstanding time of 11:12.35, earning third place honors! Ethan Blome and Eli Vannortwick also had a PR in the 3200M. Congratulations guys.
👏 Vaughn Trombley impressed in the 1600M with a strong time of 5:24.61, continuing his rise as a key distance competitor.
🎉 Sawyer Murphy took the silver medal in the 400M with a 56.53 time.

This team continues to show grit, growth, and Viking pride every time they step on the track. Let's keep the momentum rolling as we head into the final stretch of the season! The team will compete in the Saginaw County Invitational on Thursday at White Pine Middle School.

🌟 Saginaw D.C. 8th Graders: What a Week! 🌟
Our adventure-packed week kicked off Wednesday in Frankenmuth, where students made pretzels, learned a German song, enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner, and did a little fun shopping!
On Thursday, we explored the Chippewa Nature Center, learning survival skills like shelter building and fire making — all while soaking in the great outdoors! 🔥🌲
We wrapped things up on Friday with a relaxing day of board games, a showing of National Treasure at the PAC with yummy popcorn, and a sunny stroll to local shops for some tasty snacks. 🧩🎬🍦

Another fantastic showing from our Swan Valley Middle School girls track team this week, resulting in a conference championship! These athletes continue to impress with grit, speed, and strength across all events. Top 4 in each event received medals.
