It has been a thrilling and overly hot start to SVMS Sand VB! Currently Texas A & M are in first place at 16-2. This team is led by Grace Horny at captain who has a fierce serve and a non-stop hustle! Other top contributors on this squad are Lucy Vlassis, Harper Miller, Ariana Mantavalos, Piper Sova, Izzy Steiner, and the top notch Libero- Addy Larkin. Watch out though! Alabama is surging- led by Gabby Katz, Paisley Dobis, and the voice of the team- Lauren Key! Who will come out on top with two weeks left? Only time will tell.....

SUMMER OPEN WEIGHT ROOM HOURS REMINDER...

As a reminder, there are open summer weight room hours Monday-Thursday up until school starts. It is open to incoming Swan Valley students in 6th-12th grade. Please see the flyer for more details.

SWAN VALLEY SUMMER OPEN WEIGHT ROOM HOURS START MONDAY... Attention Swan Valley Middle School and High School Students and Parents / Guardians! The Swan Valley High School Weight Room will be open in the mornings and evenings starting Monday, June 16th for incoming 6th-12th grade students. The summer open weight room hours program is intended to help improve students’ athletic performance, reduce athlete injuries, and learn lifelong fitness and movement skills. Big congratulations to our Swan Valley athletes on their incredible performances at the MEGASTAR meet! 🏃‍♂️ Connor Charboneau set a new school record in the 3200M with an amazing time of 10:50! 🥈 Sawyer Murphy earned a silver medal in the 400M dash for large schools with a PR of 54.69! 🏅 The 3200M relay team of Vaughn Trombley, Eli Anders, Griffin Beougher, and Sawyer Murphy broke their own school record with a time of 9:25.10! 💪 Colten Ray threw 41' 0.5" in the shot put — great job Colten! ⚡️ Mason Wilson hit a personal best in the 70M dash! 🔥 Poppy Weyand competed in three events, including a PR of 32.90 in the 200M hurdles. She also led off the 4x400M relay with Olivea Hernandez, Stella Frantz, and Ava Stroud! The ladies ran their best time of the year! 🦘 Clara Irvine represented us in the high jump, and Stella Frantz in the 70M dash! We are proud of each and every one of you. Attention All Incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders! Do you want to be part of the biggest and best sport or club at Swan Valley Middle School? Join the Cross Country Team this fall! It’s a character-defining sport filled with great kids who support and cheer for one another every step of the way. Our season kicks off on Monday, August 18th. The bus will leave Swan Valley Middle School at 8:00 AM and head to Memorial Park in Frankenmuth for our first practice. After that, we’ll spend the afternoon at Zehnder’s Splash Village for lunch, team bonding, and fun! We’ll return by 5:00 PM.
