THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Drama's performance of "L’expédition Théâtrale" last Friday! It was an invite-only performance, so if you didn't get to come this time, don't worry! We have two more shows this year that will be open to the public. What are they? Only time will tell... Photos by Creatavid.

Better temperatures helped the Viking XC teams put up some great times tonight at the 3rd Jamboree in Freeland. ---- Personal Best times for the boys included Marcus Blankenship, Elias Gomez, Nico Rodriquez, Rohan Tabasa, and Logan Selasky (18:08). The rest of the boys that ran, ran very near their PR times. ----- The hard work and training along with cooler temps is starting to pay off because 6 out of the 8 girls also had Personal Best (PR's) today. ---- Sydney Beemer, Aubrey Davidson, Emily Demand, Alaina McNaughton, Adriana Oldham, and Mackenzie Powell all had PR's today. The other two almost had PR's, but they did earn season TVC Divisional awards. ----- Aubrey Hare earned TVC Red Division Honorable Mention team, and Senior Reese Beery earned TVC Red Division First Team (#6 best runner for the season)!!
Congratulations girls, and congrats to all of the runners who saw today what their time and hard work can accomplish

Viking Athletes of the Week (Week of 9/29)...
Swan Valley Athletics is honoring 2 fall student-athletes with Viking Athlete of the Week. Congrats to Trenton McDonald (Varsity Boys Soccer) and Lucy Shemanski (JV Volleyball). Here is what their coaches had to say about them in fulfilling one or more of the Viking Athletic Core Values:
"Trenton is playing some unbelievable soccer as the team's goalie. 2 weeks ago, Boys Soccer had to win all three of their games to clinch the #1 seed for Districts. They could not have done that without Trenton in net. Trenton is stepping up as a team leader and doing it at the right time. He's focused and read to finish out the season strong and help get the team ready for district play. Keep working hard Trenton!"
"Lucy quietly works hard to get better every practice. She hustles and is a great teammate."
Way to go Trenton and Lucy! Viking Pride!

The Vikings boys soccer team finished their regular season last night beating #11 ranked Grayling by a score of 3-0. Solid performance by our back defenders Matt Davis, Evan Kumar, Braiden Janetsky and Elijah Krantz.
The team finishes the regular season with a 12-5-1 record and secured the #1 seed for district play. The team will be back home Tuesday, Oct 15th at 4:30 to play the winner of Birch Run vs Caro.
Go Vikes!
Viking Athletes of the Week (Week of 9/23)...
Swan Valley Athletics is honoring 3 fall student-athletes with Viking Athlete of the Week. Congrats to Cal DeLisle (Varsity Football), Alivia Guilbeaux (Varsity Volleyball), and Ryder Stipanovich (Varsity Boys Soccer)! Here is what their coaches had to say about them in fulfilling one or more of the Viking Athletic Core Values:
"Cal had 97 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns on 3 carries on Friday night at Garber. On top of another stellar performance, Cal continues to be a role model for all young Vikings who he is around with his sportsmanship, effort, performance, and service to others. On top of being a great role model and athlete, Cal spent his entire Saturday at the youth football games supporting our future Vikings. Cal is everything we want our athletes to be."
"Alivia has worked so hard this season in order to achieve greatness. Although she is quiet, her effort on the court will silence the gym. Alivia gives 100% effort in everything that she does. She is quick to make adjustments and has proven that she will do whatever the team needs her to do. We are lucky to have Alivia on our team."
"Ryder continues to set the standard for work ethic each and every week. This past week, Boys Soccer had 3 games and Ryder scored 8 out of the 12 goals for the team. With the amount of goals Ryder has scored this season, he is very humble. Ryder's main concern is the team and making sure everyone is doing their best. Great job Ryder!"
Viking Pride!
