Hello everyone! Are you looking for something entertaining to attend with your family and friends? Well you’re in luck! Next week drama will be performing a murder mystery play called This Murder was Staged. Get it? Because the murder was staged and we’re on stage doing a staged play? Now that you’re intrigued, tickets are $7 and the performance will be held on February 27th, March 1st, and March 2. See you there!

This past weekend several of our band students traveled to Bay City Central High School to perform in our MSBOA District V Solo & Ensemble Festival. SVHS Drama had the opportunity to see Pit and Balcony's performance of "Miracle on 34th Street" yesterday, just in time for the holidays. Thank you, Pit and Balcony, for hosting a daytime performance and promoting the arts!

The SV Softball Program is having their annual Super Bowl Sub Sale! All proceeds will be put towards much needed field improvements and equipment for the program.
Please reach out to your SV softballer, Coach DeLine or Coach Townsend to order. Orders must be in by January 17th.
If you are not local and still would like to support the program, there is an option to donate your subs to the local outreach organizations in Saginaw or you can also just make a monetary donation to the program.
Subs will be made and delivered to you on Saturday, February 8th.

NHS members teamed up with our 1st Graders at Shields Elementary Monday to make tie blankets! The kids had a blast... and the blankets will be donated to local nursing homes as well as children receiving chemo and radiation treatments. Great job spreading the cheer of the holiday giving season! 🎄

The Swan Valley Sub-Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball Teams swept the Hemlock Huskies at home tonight! The Freshman Boys started the night off with a big win 48-20. The JV Boys prevailed 39-29, and the JV Girls came out on top in a close one 25-21.

Drama students went on a field trip this past Saturday to CMU's Theatre and Dance Preview Day. They attended workshops, had a Q&A session with faculty and students, enjoyed a dorm dinner, and saw a musical. What a full day!
