Students in Mr. Brady's 6th grade Viking Valor class competed in a nationwide writing contest through the VFW- called Patriots Pen. Students created an essay addressing the theme, "My Voice in Democracy."
Congratulations to MJ Burns, Anna Fresorger, Lennon Klepsch, Brock Vasquez, and Carter Schultz for being selected. Their essays now will be reviewed by our local VFW post with hopes of taking home the national grand prize of 5 grand!

As a reminder, the first annual Swan Valley Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place as part of the Rally. Listed below is the timeline for the evening so you can plan accordingly:
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Social Hour and Raffle Ticket Sales
6:30 - 7:00 p.m. - Swan Valley Sports Hall of Fame Ceremony
7:00 p.m. (approximate) - Announcements and Invocation
7:10 p.m. (approximate) - Dinner
8:00 - 11:00 p.m. - Music, Dancing, and Raffles
*9:30 p.m. - Raffle Basket Drawings
