The show starts at 7:00 at the Vasher Theater in Heritage High School. Use the South parking lot, and enter through the "B" doors. Tickets are only $3! Can't make it tonight? Today's senior Drama feature:
Addison Lewis: Addison is a senior this year, and she is excited and sad to say this is her last production at Swan Valley High School. She has been in drama since her junior year and has played many roles. Addison acted and helped in set and props. She would like to do drama in the future at other places to have more opportunities.
Jacob Simons: Jacob is excited for his 5th show in SVHS Drama. He is returning to the stage this time as Samantha, Grape, and Waiter. You may have seen him in She Kills Monsters as Steve, Wednesday Night Live as many characters, John Lennon and Me as Jeff, and The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon as Actor. He has enjoyed his experiences in drama and is happy for this last show. After graduation, Jacob plans to attend Central Michigan to double majoring in mathematics and actuarial science, and is auditioning to play in the marching band.



Swan Valley Varsity Poms had to reschedule their car wash fundraiser from last weekend. If around next Saturday, May 25th, please come out and show your support for the program and get your vehicle washed at the same time! Please see the flyer for more details

Yesterday we had a lot of athletes take advantage of the Last Chance meet at Heritage and earn a new Personal Record (PR) and a few athlete won medals at a meet with the majority being DI (large) schools. Congrats to all our athletes. Medals were to top 6 athletes and top 4 relays.

Ashley Dingman, Alexis Mendoza, Berta Camargo, Riley Masegian, Addison Newman put together 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams just for this meet. Well done!

Today's Drama senior feature:
Signe Kristiansen: Signe is a part of the actor and costume teams. She is excited for her second show with Swan Valley. She enjoys all the new friends she got in drama class and trying new fun things. This is Signe’s first year doing drama here, but third year doing drama. After high school Signe plans on studying back in Denmark to study and become a travel guide in her gap years, later hopefully working as a midwife.
Sophia Reynolds: R.A.A.H.! is Sophia’s third drama production. After playing Star in last year’s production (John Lennon and Me) and Narrator 2 earlier in 2024 (The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon), she knew she wanted to continue acting throughout her senior year. When not in drama, Sophia can be found playing piano, singing, and reading. She wants to give a special thanks to Mom and Glenn for the constant support and love, along with special thanks to the Vlassis family for the never-ending laughter and joy, and lastly her friends for the eventful adventures they go on. Much love for you all!


Freshmen baseball split with Bay City Western winning the first game 3-2 and losing the second game 6-11. B. Ray pitched a complete game, allowing only 2 hits and striking out 3. C. Rush played down a perfect squeeze bunt to score the winning run with two strikes on him! Selasky, Ray, Irvine, and C. Leachman each had hits in the games.

Swan Valley Varsity Girls Soccer Player Zoey Stiener is being honored with Viking Athlete of the Week. Zoey is a shining example of excellence both on and off the field! Today's Drama Senior features:
Isabella Perez: Isabella loved dancing for this production. This is her first time being on stage and is sadly her last time as well. She plans on going to Delta College and transferring to Grand Valley University to pursue a career in Sonography.
Mars Reese: Mars is very excited to jump back into drama with this production. Their previous experience with theater includes She Kills Monsters, Wednesday Night Live, and The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, mostly as an actor. In their free time they enjoy writing, singing, and playing video games. Right now they are currently writing a book and are planning to go to Delta and transfer to CMU.

Katelynn Nichols: Katelynn is excited but also sad for the last show, this is her second and last production. Katelynn has been the stage manager as well as being in the stage crew. She enjoys drama because of her friends and getting to use her ideas. Katelynn is going to Delta College where she’s going to get her general educations degree and then transferring to SVSU for a business degree. Katelynn owes all of her goals and
achievements to her wonderful mother, Jennifer Dembinsky.
Corina Mangiapane: Corina is a senior at Swan Valley High School. She has been in plays at Swan Valley before: John Lennon and Me, Steel Magnolias, and The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. She loves being a part of the drama team and acting in the shows. She hopes to continue being a part of theatre after graduating from Swan Valley.

NHS students helped with Spring Special Olympics today. Several hundred Special Olympians from the Tri-City area participated in track and field events at SVSU's Ryder Center. Great job, NHS!

NHS members picked up trash along a 2-mile stretch of M-52 today in Swan Creek Twp. This is part of the Adopt A Highway program. Making our community better! Great job, NHS!

The Swan Valley Varsity Baseball and Softball Teams split against rival Freeland at home tonight. The Lady Vikings came back to win the 2nd game 11-6 after a tough loss in the 1st outing in extra innings 14-15. The Varsity Baseball Team also won the 2nd game over the Falcons by a score of 6-1.
