Vikings won two at Beal City. 13-0, 11-1. Jamison Pelt threw an exceptional 4 innings for the first game win. Jack Lagan and Jaxon Hartley each had two hits with the team tallying 11 hits total. Brayden Ray closed the 5 inning game. The biggest moment was sophomore Cooper Habina’s bomb over the left field fence. Cooper Habina and Aiden LaFond combined for the 3 inning game 2 win. Hartley had 2 hits to lead the offense. Next up, Saturday, St. Johns Invite.

JV Baseball improved to 5-0 on the season, picking up 2 more wins vs. Garber last night. (8-3 and 21-0 (2 innings). Offensive leaders were Toner (5H, 5RBI), Gebauer (4H, 3RBI), Bauer (2H), and Smith, Carter, Stoney and Tracy each had a hit. Defensive leaders were Darabos (3.2IP, 2H, 6K), Stoney (0.1IP, 0H), Gebauer (1.0IP, 3K) and Tracy (1.0IP, 3K). Ray caught both games.

JV plays at home vs. Beal City tonight at 4:00.

Girls Varsity Soccer returned from spring break ready to compete. The team traveled to Northwood University to take on the home team, Calvary Baptist.

Swan Valley struck first when Kinsey Kaul, who had 3 shots on goal, scored to give the Vikings an early lead. Calvary Baptist answered with a goal of their own to tie the match.

In the second half, momentum shifted as Stella Frantz drove up the middle and fired a shot toward the top right corner of the goal, putting Swan Valley back on top. The Vikings then held onto the lead for the remainder of the game, securing a 2–1 victory.

Defense & Goalkeeping:
A shoutout to defenders Zoey Stiener and Zoe Ecker, who created a strong wall in front of the net, helping goalkeeper Kaydence Walsh protect the lead with 4 saves.

JV won both games vs Reese tonight, 10-6 and 7-6. Murphy started the 1st game (4Ks), Gebauer pitched in relief (3Ks) and Stoney got the save (2Ks). Ray caught. Tracy started the second game (5Ks) and Jackson closed the game (5Ks). Carter caught. Offensive leaders were Toner with 5 hits, Gebauer, Stoney, Ray and Murphy with 3 hits each, and Darabos, Smith, Tracy and Bauer had one hit each.

JV Baseball had its season opener at Detroit Catholic tonight. SV won the first game 8-5 and were down 1-8 when the second game was called to darkness in the 3rd inning. Habina started game 1, striking out 5. Bedford came in relief, striking out 1, and Stoney got the save with 1K. Darabos started game 2 (1K) and Smith came in relief (2Ks). Ray caught both games. Offensive leaders were Gebauer with 2H, 1 RBI, Darabos and Smith had 1H, 2 RBI each, and Stoney, Bedford, Ray, Habina, and Carter each had a hit. Farr, Stoney, and Bauer each had a stolen base. JV plays home tomorrow vs Reese.

Swan Valley Boys Volleyball Snap Mobile Fundraiser (3/23-4/17)...

Help support the Swan Valley High School Boys Volleyball Club to give our student-athletes an opportunity to play and compete! In its 2nd year as a school club sport and self-funded, Swan Valley Boys Volleyball has to cover various expenses that other school sponsored sports do not such as officials, coach's pay, registrations fees, uniforms, etc.

22 of Swan Valley High School's winter sports athletes traveled to Shields and Havens Elementary Schools this week to read to our younger Vikings for March is Reading Month! There was much positive interaction , conversation, and connections that were made! Starting with academics! Congrats to the Varsity Girls Basketball Team for earning the Team Academic Award through the athletic department, having an outstanding team GPA average of 3.99! The Lady Vikes will get free lunch courtesy of the athletic department.

Congratulations to the 40 winter student-athletes for earning the Scholar Athlete Award with a GPA of 3.75 or higher in Trimester Two! These student-athletes have demonstrated loyalty and devotion to their school and team, exceeding academic requirements.
