Miss Britt was busy this week with concert music!! Her 2nd grade musicians are learning how to read notes and play on the xylophone, not an easy task to learn, and they rocked it! they sound so good. we can't wait to see them on stage in a couple weeks, hope to see you there!

With snowy weather knocking on our doors, now is as good a time as any to make sure students have all they need to go outside for recess at school. We go outside whenever conditions allow (not too cold, icy, or sloppy) so we recommend snow pants, gloves/mittens, hats, and of course boots. We require snowboots to go off the sidewalk and snow pants to go down into the snow. Feel free to reiterate that we do not allow snowballs and snowball fights!
Here's to a safe, snowy winter.

Mrs. Robinson and her 1st grade artists were hard at work creating some amazing pieces this week! They were exploring the concept of Pop Art and made some funky cool Gingerbread kids!

Mrs. Robinson had another awesome after-school canvas painting class recently! Our Shields and Havens students painted some cool and spooky Halloween art! Watch for more upcoming Art camps this year!

Mrs Saylor and Mrs Slubowski had a great time this week with our very first Storytelling camp! Our Shields students got to work on their storytelling skills while they built their confidence in public speaking, using different voices, and using their imagination! We are looking forward to more storytelling camps this year!

We hope you enjoy this Video Memory from the Class of 2025 to the Class of 2037 Viking Spirit Walk! This is a new tradition for our Seniors and Kindergarten students.
