Swan Valley School District partners with the Swan Valley Athletic Association to create the Swan Valley Athletic Hall of Fame.

On the fiftieth anniversary of the Swan Valley School District, it is with great pleasure that I can announce that the SVAA board and the SV School Board have voted unanimously to establish the Swan Valley School District Athletic Hall of Fame. This endeavor is long overdue and will offer public acknowledgement to those who have made substantial contributions to Viking athletic achievements including former players, coaches, teams, administrators, and volunteers. The north wall of the high school cafeteria will be the home of the Hall of Fame (see picture). Mr. Ken Bourbina designed the sharp and classy Hall of Fame logo. This wall will be a permanent display of Viking pride starting in 2024 with the induction of the first class of athletes. Plaques honoring the inductees will be attached to the wall below the Hall of Fame sign. The SVAA, as the sponsoring organization, has created a three person committee to oversee the Hall of Fame. All voting will be done electronically. There are five different categories of nominations; male and female individuals, teams, coaches and athletic administrators, and a distinguished service award for those who have made significant contributions to Swan Valley Athletics.
