It was Puddles of fun during Week 1 of SVMS Quicksand Volleyball 🏐 Only the Michigan Wolverines remains undefeated after 6 games with a team comprised of Hadley Wagner, Olivia Horwath, Chloe Stephens, Nolan Erlenbeck , and Emmy Breathauer.
The surprise team is the Ohio State Buckeyes who are young in age, but fierce in the sand!

Swan Valley Middle School is offering 2 new opportunities to assist students in completing their normal assignments, catch up on missing work and receive routine assistance with classwork.
The first is Virtual STAR.

Two teachers will be available to assist students with homework and questions. Students may join and leave the Zoom session as necessary. Students must use their school iPad / user name to join the Zoom session and will be admitted to the Zoom session by the teacher when available, so please be patient in the waiting room. Students must also introduce themselves in the chat and have their camera on in order to receive help.
The second is a new service we are calling "The SVMS Internet Cafe"
We will be offering students the opportunity to work at school under the supervision of our classroom aides. Students will work synchronously in the cafeteria on their normal classes.

1 session per day (7:30 - 12:20)
Monday - Friday, according to the school calendar

Girls Basketball Open Gyms begin this Sunday in the main gym of the high school 7:00-8:00 pm. For all girls grades 7-12th. Enter through back door of gym to answer heath questions. Masks must be worn.
Girls Youth Basketball Update: The skills session for 4,5 and 6 grade girls originally planned to begin tonight has been cancelled due to the weather. The first session will be Thursday Sept 10 from 5:30-6:30 in the back gym of the HS. Contact Coach Reyna Luplow for any questions you may have.
