Our children are loving their little fun challenges at home! The teachers give them a list of things to find in their homes and they can send a picture of them with the items for their teachers to see! This is such a great way to keep the kids interacting and going over the things they have been learning throughout the week in class!! If your children are participating in these challenges we would love to see their pictures on what they find!! Please send your pictures in to your teachers!!

Our 3 year old online E-learning sessions this morning went well! Our 3 year old's enjoyed their story times with their teachers and being able to have this learning time with their teachers again! It's so amazing to see all of their beautiful smiling faces throughout the week! Remember, If you are not able to attend the 9 AM session there is a PM session that starts at 1 PM as well or vise versa! We hope you and your children are enjoying these online learning sessions and having fun with it as much as we are!

IT'S A HIT!!!!!!! The children are having a fantastic time along with their preschool teachers! We have two sessions a day. You can attend either one or both sessions. Please take advantage of our sessions as It's also a great way for your children to see their friends along with having a fun learning experience! Swan Valley Learning Center's Afternoon sessions. Our children are having fun and happy to see their preschool teachers. Our preschool teachers sure did miss their children and were so happy to be teaching and seeing all those beautiful faces!

First day with our 4 year old online education classrooms. Here are some our preschool teachers and children interacting with one another. They seem to be having a blast! Online education learning times and days: 4 year old classrooms Monday, Wednesday, Friday Morning session starts at 9 am. Afternoon session starts at 1 pm. 3 year old classrooms Tuesday & Thursday Morning session starts at 9 am. Afternoon session starts at 1 pm. Dear parents, If your child has been attending, we are offering to allow them to wear their pajama's this Friday April 10th, 2020. We are hoping to make this time fun and still feel at home while they are here. Staff will be wearing theirs as well for a comfy, cozy Friday!

Beginning Monday, April 6th the high school will be moving the breakfast/lunch pick up times to 11:00am-2:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the high school.

Dear Parents, This is just a reminder that we will be open the week of April 6th, for those parents who are considered essential workers. The stay at home order has been extended until April 30th. We are planning to remain in operation as long as the circumstances allow. Unfortunately, at this time it will be determined by enrollment and on a weekly basis according to your need. We will be open our regular hours during this time. It is very important when you call to reserve for the week, you are reserving only days needed. We plan staffing according to your reservations. Policy charges will be applied for no shows and cancellations. Please only reserve days you definitely know you require our services. You can always call to add on for additional days. Please remember to call your reservations in by Monday for the following week during this time. Swan Valley Learning Center families, By now, I hope you have had a chance to digest the latest Executive Order from our Governor regarding Covid 19. In speaking with our Superintendent, we believe this means our center can only be open for the children of "critical infrastructure workers" otherwise we are all under a stay at home order until April 13, 2020. By 4:00 today, if you are a "critical infrastructure worker" who chooses childcare, please reply to this email. The reply should provide: Your name Your occupation Number of children to serve Specific days and approximate time that childcare is needed. Note: This Executive decision will go into effect at 12:01 am on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Thank you.

Dear Parents, Due to COVID- 19 the water main valve repair has been delayed. We are considering opening the week of spring break (March 30th - April 3rd). We would like to ask you to take this survey so we have an idea of how many of our families would be interested in our services during this week. If we have enough request for our services we will open, if we do not then we would close during this week. If you could please take a moment to complete this survey, we would greatly appreciate it. We are holding strong through this crisis! Our students will be taking home breakfast and lunch for the weekend. Remember even if you child is not attending, they are distributing it at the front of the Swan Valley High School if you are in need of food.

I would like to take a moment to thank our SVLC Team for their hard work, dedication,and sacrifice during this difficult time we are all experiencing across the nation. We as a team realize the struggle and sacrifice many people in all fields of employment are experiencing by putting themselves at risk to assist in a time of need. We thank everyone involved for those services. Dear Preschool Parents, We have decided to reschedule spring pictures considering the circumstances. The children's picture days will not be this week. The reschedule dates are May 28th for 3 year old's and May 29th for 4 year old's. Thank you for your understanding, SVLC

STCS will be holding a food service drive for the Swan Valley School District students that may need the help for food during this time. Please read the attachment below for more information.
