Craig Monahan, chairman of the Swan Valley Sports Hall of Fame and former coach and teacher, has the honor and privilege every year of presenting and inducting any new members into the Swan Valley Sports of Hall of Fame. In its 2nd year of operation, the Swan Valley Sports Hall of Fame recently inducted 9 individuals in the Class of 2025. The 9 Swan Valley Viking Individual State Champions in the sports of track and field & wrestling were inducted on November 1st at the Horizons Center in Saginaw which now is a joint event as a part of the Swan Valley Athletic Association’s annual Rally in the Valley Fundraiser.

The Swan Valley Sports Hall of Fame offers public acknowledgement to those who have made substantial contributions to Viking athletic achievements including former players, coaches, teams, administrators, and volunteers. The north wall of the high school cafeteria is home of the Hall of Fame.
The SVAA, as the sponsoring organization, has created a three person committee to oversee the Hall of Fame. All voting will be done electronically. There are five different categories of nominations; male and female individuals, teams, coaches and athletic administrators, and a distinguished service award for those who have made significant contributions to Swan Valley Athletics.
