SENIOR YEARBOOK PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
Congratulations seniors. Your senior portrait and yearbook baby picture are an important part of commemorating your education at SVHS. The following information will help you plan for your senior portraits and ensure that the photos in your yearbook are ones that you will treasure for a lifetime. Seniors will submit photos that meet the deadline and both the aesthetic and technical specifications of the yearbook. If you have not yet scheduled a sitting with a professional photographer, do so now if you intend to use one.
SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHS SUBMITTED TO THE YEARBOOK MUST BE:
Head shot only
Must be in FULL COLOR
2.25”wide by 3” height
300 DPI
File format type JPEG or JPG
YOU CANNOT SAVE AS POWER POINT, WORD, WORKS, PHOTOSHOP, TIFF, GIF, OR PDF
NOTE:
Do not cut the head/hairline at the top of the photo
No writing on the photos
Only head and shoulders will be in the yearbook photo
We do not encourage taking prints from your photographer and scanning them. The quality is usually poor. Please have your photographer submit the image.
The SVHS Yearbook reserves the right to refuse a photo not meeting specifications
SUBMISSION PROCESS
All senior portraits must be submitted electronically.

BABY PHOTOGRAPHS SUBMITTED TO THE YEARBOOK MUST BE:
Head shot only-senior is the only one in the photo
Must be in FULL COLOR
Infant-five years old
SUBMISSION PROCESS
Baby photos can be submitted electronically (tlabrak@svsd.us) or a hard copy can be submitted. Hard copies will be promptly returned. Photos can be given to Mr. Labrake at school or placed in her school mailbox.
PHOTOS MUST BE LABELED WITH FIRST AND LAST NAME
