If you want something on your RESUME that is validated nationally, JOIN BPA (Business Professionals of America).  In addition, there are many Scholarship opportunities when you are a member in your Senior Year.

CENTRAL MICHIGAN WRITERS' COMPETITION

Central Michigan Writers' Competition (Formerly the TVC Writing Team) consists of students writing in small groups and competing against other local schools.

Students write persuasive essays, short stories, editorials, poetry, and more! There are two competitions and they take place in the fall.

11th/12th grade students only

Description:   An organization that recognizes and encourages academic achievement while also developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy. The ideals of scholarship, service, leadership, and character are pursued.   Performs community service projects throughout the Saginaw area.

ROBOTICS

FRC Team 5538, The Vikingbots, is an award winning FIRST Robotics team and non-profit. 

Founded in 2015, the students in robotics routinely solve challenges in business, computer science, engineering, and math.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT

Are you interested in leadership and making a difference at school? 

Student Government representatives are in charge of various events throughout the school year.  Homecoming events such as theme, parade,  and assemblies are designed and organized by Student Government.  This group also holds an annual canned food drive, class competitions, spirit weeks, and many other events.
